I'm this 👌close from getting a promotion.. And, I'm starting to think that I don't want it 🤔

It's a 20% raise.. But, a hell of a responsibility 🙂🙂.
The money is good.. But, I think no money is worth the stress 🤷‍♂️

@ASLAN babysitting is the proper term for people management. Congratulations!! Make your expectations clear. Don’t micromanage. Expect them to take responsibility of their projects. You will do great.

What a wise consideration. However, you seem young. HAlF the financial battle in life is “managing” your stress level (successfully) and the only way to learn how, is to take on additional stress /responsibly. You can always pretend you’re not making more $, and just save the extra, and go back to a lowly position if you don’t enjoy the new challenge. (Showing up, not quitting is the other half of the battle) And if at the end of the year, you survive the weight of additional stress, let’s adjust say your future looks bright.
