Why people reply to posts from trolls or people they don't like?

I know it. I also have people blocked. But people are free to do whatever they want.
I wouldn't like this became a hostile place.

I put myself the first. I sometimes don't know if someone is trying to kid but why bother if you doesn't like this person's intentions. It's up to him/her and the other users. No need to insult the other.

I see what you say and I understand that when someone is being mean, you want to set this person in his/her place but in the case of trolls, I don't see the need to feed them and in the case you don't like a question someone asked or a post, I don't see either the need to mess it up with dirty words or insults.
I don't know...perhaps I don't have blood or it's age.
