Just found out one of my great uncles got diagnosed with cancer.

He is my great uncle but I call him uncle and we just found out that he has stomach cancer and it’s terminal. Damn it! This is so heartbreaking. Whatever you do please stop taking life for granted and spend time with your love ones as much as you can and hug them and tell them that you love them. Yes it’s annoying when people say don’t take life for granted but is the truth. So heartbreaking

Cancer is a horrible disease. Dear Wife went through a bout with it about 10 years ago. She still has lingering effects from her treatments. So sad about your uncle. I do hope he is at peace.

@hippyjoe1955 I feel so bad for him I really do and the whole family is very shocked. What really annoys me is that one of my cousins which is her daughter makes it all about herself. I mean I get that she’s really heartbroken and it’s her dad but she never once asked how he thought about the illness or how everyone else feels about it. I’ll share were talking about is herself and makes everything about her.
