Yup, some of the products contain benzene, which might have a limited carcinogenic effect, although there are no instances of this having happened.

The recall is voluntary and purely precautionary.

It has nothing to do with vaccines.

Coffee, alcoholic beverages, salted fish, red meat, pickled vegetables, even very hot beverages for example are ALL known or probable carcinogens in humans. It's rarely about "what" but about "how much"

My sister, who’s a nurse, watched them inoculate all of the white doctors with whom she works. One of my cousins, who’s a cardiologist, watched her white colleagues all get vaccinated. They both decided to get vaccinated, because they knew nobody’s trying to kill them. In terms of commercial products, there’s probably little that one could use or eat that doesn’t have some risk, unfortunately.

For me it was simple. The virus would probably kill me, like it already has 2 family members who weren’t vaccinated. No one in my family has experienced side effects from the vaccine.

@bijouxbroussard My original point was sort of an explanation as to why many people do not trust. I am not advocating not getting it. I'm sick of being accused of potentially killing thousands of people! I never leave my house! I probably never will again.

They werent lying. They didn't know. Learning is considered progress by most people.
Could there be problems down the road? Yeah. But we already see what covid is doing NOW. It's called triage and emergency CARE. You work with what you have and the time you have to make the best of the situation. People keep complaining about the vaccine but they don't offer a different solution other than conspiracies.

What do Pantene and Herbal Essence have to do with the vaccine? A lot of cancer is caused by the food we eat. As long as bribes are being paid to the government it doesn't matter.

Well, the company who makes Camel lied about their cigarettes.

Johnson and Johnson lied about the cancer causing talc.

I imagine the companies trying to profit are where the lies originate.

But THIS time they are telling the truth. 🙄

No one ever warned women about toxic shock syndrome, Thalidomide was a widely used drug in the late 1950s and early 1960s for the treatment of nausea in pregnant women but what they got was extremely disfigured babies... there are so many examples but...people are unwilling to accept that we were duped so often.Some outright lied, some of the meds were put on the market with very little research.

@pedrohedgerow LOL!!! My life experience says the world is flat, the sky is an inverted bowl, and the sun & moon are disks that travel across the bowl!! Luckily, I got beyond my life experience and learned a thing or two about how the universe can be highly counter-intuitive.

You want to accept all the many benefits of modern science, like cars and computers and modern medicine, but reject one particular set of statistical conclusions because Tucker Carlson told you to. [b]LOL!!![/b]

@ninalanyon politicians DO become a different species. I have no respect for authority figures, never have. I've seen too many abuse their power. Power corrupts. Nothing to do with conspiracies'. It's MY life experiences that make me this way.

No path in life is 100% safe. Drop the expectation that something out there will avoid all possible negative outcomes.

All the evidence, from many different countries, says that taking the vaccine is far far safer than facing Covid without vaccine. Here's some good data from the US for your perusal.

There's no zero risk options. You have two options essentially, one that carries a 10.0-25.0% rate of ugly outcomes (depending on your health status, age, variant, viral load) and one that carries a 0.00001% one (at worst; for most people you can probably add in another zero after the dot). Choose wisely.
