I love this place, the people, the fun…and feeling like I belong in this community. Now I need this community to help me.
A couple of days ago someone came into my DMs for harmless conversation…this quickly turned very dark and nasty. I was threatened and blackmailed - they were going to spread all over the internet how much of a dirty slut I am, doctored screenshots as their proof. They were blackmailing me to send them nude photos in exchange for being left alone. They harassed me from multiple accounts.
What made this whole ordeal worse for me (and possibly why I acted differently to others who may have just ignored the threats) is that as a young teenager I was groomed and abused online over a 2 year period. This brought back horrific memories for me and left me absolutely terrified. I stupidly tried to reason with the troll who used my trauma to laugh at me and mock me.
I took a break as this place was no longer safe to me, it was tainted with my trauma and I was fearful of who is hiding in the shadows. I can’t thank Nuno enough for acting quickly and helping to take care of the problem, and my friends for their continued support.
I don’t want this evil bastard to drive me away from a place I love. He can only win and have power over me if I let him…but I need your help.
Please if anyone sees any posts, photos or screenshots targeting me just flag and report them. If it happens in DMs do the same thing.

Please don’t share your selfies for too long on any post, for your own safety. I usually keep mine up only for 20 mins or so.
Good to know that Nuno quickly took action to block that troll.

@Vivaci I have learnt this lesson about selfies…an app can be used to remove the clothing so they appear as nudes. There are some truly sick people on the internet.
@SW-User oh yeah...I had seen someone share that app and their nude pics here. I think someone misusing it to blackmail you was such a creepy scary thing! Eff them! 🤬 I hope they go blind and burn in hell! 🤬
Honestly, I’d resolved to not share selfies this year and I think I did a pretty good job staying away from the selfie posts for that reason. Otherwise, I feel safe sharing only my Snapchat pics for this v reason. You never know who is misusing them. @Trippin
