Is Similar Worlds dying a slow death?

Sure seems like it. I won't be surprised if it's gone in a year or two. All the negativity has ran a lot of good people off the site.

I’m seeing a few posts like this lately and all I can say is - traffic seems to be down a little bit, but there still seems to be enough of a nucleus user base here to keep SW going for a while. Maybe traffic will increase again, maybe not. But I ask each and every one of you

What do you do at SW to keep it going?

Are there more things we could do to keep the site interesting? It’s up to each and every one of us to make SW what we want it to be.

@LvChris my post wasn’t financial in nature in any way. It was about keeping a place alive that we enjoy coming to. We all like a forum to come to right? If you can’t see that point, then I guess you should start your own site. ;)

@Ambroseguy80 yes...its up to the users to make it what they want it to be.....but, the majority of us post away.....and nobody responds. There are probably about 30 regular users that get great responses to their post, but the rest of us get very little in the way of interaction.
The posts disappear very quickly now in the feed so they are only really seen by the people online when they are posted.

So....not a lot individuals can do really.

As for your other attempts to get personal - I ignore them. It just shows the kind of person you are and what you’re about.

@RubySoo I agree. It's frustrating. I set my feed to friends, but when I venture outside that, it's hard to find any content I'm actually interested in reading or interacting. Combing groups and questions was a terrible idea. It's all just a jumbled mess, now.
