The Atheists should try forgiveness and see how itakes them feel

Those that believe in Christian mercy, love and eternal life may have a monopoly on heaven and salvation but we don't necessarily have a monopoly on the concept of forgiving those that have trespassed against us.

Atheists, next time someone wrongs you, instead of responding with spite and malice and becoming fixated on revenge, try instead to forgive the person who wronged you. Try and turn your mind to more pleasant things. Becoming obsessed with revenge will make you look older (because of stress hormones) and you will be emotionally unbalanced. But if you can forgive someone, you will find a measure of piece that might over time grow and change you as a person in a positive way that you may find surprising.

I think OP is mostly talking about the narcissistic internet atheist spergs
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Rolexeo what’s a sperg?
SW-User
@Rolexeo What does this even mean?
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@newjaninev2 Someone that displays awkward, obsessive, and pedantic behaviours
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@SW-User Which word are you not understanding?
SW-User
@Rolexeo Hmm, I think I'm understanding, but I get the tact of you, if you don't agree attack their understanding.... trained well. Is Spergs short for Aspergers?
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@SW-User You're probably the type I'm talking about if this is how you react
SW-User
@Rolexeo You like to make assumptions don't you, when one was asking a question. Hurrumph. I got a glance in though.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@SW-User When did I attack your understanding? I asked what part you didn't understand cause you literally said you didn't understand what I was saying. Then you said I'm attacking you...?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Rolexeo Tell me, does one need to have all four characteristics to be the OP’s referent, or will a partial set suffice?

@newjaninev2 How should I know? What are you getting at?
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@SW-User Didn't see the edit, yes Aspergers. But the traits I mentioned are a choice, people with aspergers just tend to exhibit them. An "illness", yeah, but I'm the ass lol
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Rolexeo Well, I’m on the Internet, and I’m an atheist, but I’m not narcissistic (well, nobody has accused me of that), and I’m not on any sort of Asperger scale, so do I qualify for what the OP was talking about, and if not do I then get a different category?
SW-User
@Rolexeo Wow, you have a gross misunderstanding, take the plight of what some suffer from and make fun... I will move on. But nice to see you own up on what you met.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@newjaninev2 Well you're pedantic for sure
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@SW-User I'm not the one dehumanizing them by calling it an "illness" or throwing a temper tantrum....
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Rolexeo It’s a requirement in science... seen as a virtue, so thank you
SW-User
@Rolexeo I just called you out. I am quite able having a friend who had someone as a sibling on the spectrum and I'm human. Don't treat everyone sensitive and caring, who sees the plight at times as "different", just cause you are indifferent and want to make fun doesn't mean the one who calls you out is on the spectrum, dolt.

If I really wanted to know how it fills a gap in security for you to do so, I would ask.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@newjaninev2 Thorough, you're just being overly literal
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@SW-User You dehumanized them, you called it an "illness". Stop with the fake outrage, you're very narcissistic and exactly who I was talking about
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Rolexeo Just making sure we have our terms well-defined

"If you wish to converse with me, define your terms. How many a debate would have been deflated into a paragraph if the disputants had dared to define their terms! ”
Voltaire
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@newjaninev2 Ime it's never a good sign when people want you to define your terms. The discussion inevitably devolves into an argument over semantics.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Rolexeo as opposed to a discussion where neither party knows what the other party is talking about?
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@newjaninev2 Words have meanings, they're used universally. I'm sure you're not defining your terms when you have a conversation with someone, so why would you in a discussion? Neither party can ever agree on how to define them anyways. Each party just defines it in a way that furthers their agenda.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@newjaninev2 Well, sperg originally was a term for someone with Asperger's syndrome, but it's kinda lost that meaning and nowadays it means someone who engages in hyper-specific interests and fixative behaviors. Think back to when Homestuck was at its peak and fans of it would be loud and bothersome and constantly try to tell everyone about Homestuck even if it didn't fit the conversation at all. That's sperg behavior.
