What is with the trashing of liberals on here? Seriously.

Some people act as if all liberals are evil and unpatriotic by default. As someone who has mostly liberals views herself, it has become frustrating, because I feel like I can't even discuss my views on here without being judged. I am really sick of it.

While I sort of sympathize, consider the fact that trashing liberals is really at the core of what passes for Conservatives these days and that the people calling you names, hurling ad hominem attacks and using whatabouts because they can't or don't want to honestly address a point are actually discussing their views as best they can.

Fox, the tea party, and Trumpism have pretty dumbed down American Conservatism to the point where it has few principles and none more important than "us vs them and they're bad."

Add that to the nature of SW as an anonymous come spew what's on your mind site, and what you've described is hardly surprising.
