@cranberries: the only thing I see wrong with this sentence is that it needs two commas; one after expression, and one more after itself. There should probable be one right before itself, too, but I'm not sure it's really necessary.

@cranberries: Doesn't quite seem right but I don't know enough about the science to be able to fully understand what you are trying to say and wouldn't want to point you in the wrong direction. If you try rephrasing a few times I may be able to get a better feel for what you're going for and be able to help
