If a person says they don't like to be controlled would that raise suspicion over their mental health?

Example after being told you have borderline personality disorder by someone not educated or qualified to diagnose.
A sociopath by a woman hating power hungry queen.
Why simply because you refused to conform...what does that mean exactly?
BlueVeins · 22-25
Doesn't everyone despise being controlled?
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@BlueVeins I don't know I think most are good at believing they're in control when they aren't
@Mellowgirl Indeed. And some people--whether they realize it or not--want nothing more than to escape from freedom.

Just overly cautious.

@SW-User You're smart.
Visionary artists and mystics are often labeled as mentally ill. Sometimes, it's really the society and its gatekeepers of normalcy that are mentally ill. Or at least morbidly dull.
TheBannibalOne · 61-69, M
The person has no right calling her anything.
they are not qualified.
you are probably fine,,, those folks are fecked up

If someone is not qualified to diagnose borderline personality disorder, then they are also not qualified to judge mental health, as vague as that term is.
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@RedBaron but when it's mentioned instead of someone saying that, who is qualified to say so... A therapist or counsellor they instead say you should be referred to a psychiatrist...
RedBaron · M
@Mellowgirl But the biggest problem is that mental health is a vague term without specific meaning, similar to nervous breakdown.
If ones's life is always chaotic one would need to reflect on that. But no one can force one to get help if they need it.
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
@Spoiledbrat define chaotic...
Not busy or unorganized but they don't have good relationships with people spend their money instead of pay the bills and or are promiscuous or have a difficult time following orders. But this could describe a lot of people so it would need to be to the extreme whereas they don't have much control and are impulsive. But I'm not a doctor. @Mellowgirl
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
wait did you just call her a sociopath
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
