If a person says they don't like to be controlled would that raise suspicion over their mental health?

Example after being told you have borderline personality disorder by someone not educated or qualified to diagnose.
A sociopath by a woman hating power hungry queen.
Why simply because you refused to conform...what does that mean exactly?

If someone is not qualified to diagnose borderline personality disorder, then they are also not qualified to judge mental health, as vague as that term is.

@RedBaron but when it's mentioned instead of someone saying that, who is qualified to say so... A therapist or counsellor they instead say you should be referred to a psychiatrist...

@Mellowgirl But the biggest problem is that mental health is a vague term without specific meaning, similar to nervous breakdown.
