What is the best movie soubdtrack?

My favorite two would be "Forest Gump" for the awesome classic rock. Or "The Queen of the Damned" which was a crappy movie but had a rocking soundtrack that still stands out today.

@PrivateHell did not know that. The movie wasn't very good so Id never paid any attention to the soundtrack
@REMsleep the sound track had Marilyn Manson, Derek Draiman, Static X... it was loaded with heavy songs. Just amazing

@PrivateHell I fucking love the ost of Queen of the damned.
Being a 90’s girl I’m gonna say Singles and The Crow
@ProdigalSummer my favorite song, State of Love and Trust, is from Singles. And who can beat The Crow and Crow 2 soundtrack?!

I always liked the closing music of “The Bounty”
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP well I enjoyed the arrival of the “ ladies” and their boarding of said vessel!
@soar2newhighs You have a point. Maybe I was influenced by what shrinks would call, what..? classical conditioning? 🤔
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP I particularly took
Delight as a native female was assisted aboard and was it “
Hanes for her” or “Ladies’ Jockey’s...it was a white swath of cloth between her legs. I was beside myself!

I can't say best but one of my favs is Romeo and Juliet from 1996/97 staring Claire Daines and Leonardo.
My friend bought both volumes I and II and we listened to them so much that year.
