I’ll be paying my taxes. Ah, the irony. 😛

I’m paying off a credit card. Then all the worst ones are out of the way.

Saving it up for when it’s needed but a solar panel with batteries might be good if the price of energy rises. Have already installed solar lights on the front of the house with motion sensors and turned off the other ones that use a lot of power.

@Stereoguy Oklahoma is number one in the nation for convenience stores and right up there close for bad health...think there’s any coincidence?

By the time it actually comes, I might be able to get a tank of gas with it
Indy74 · 46-50, F
I put mine in savings. I don't want to overdo it!!😁
MaryJanine · 61-69, F
I am expecting both my stimulus check and my Social Security check. Both will be direct deposit, and the first thing I will do is pay my rent, which by that time will be overdue. I have cleared this with management and they understand. The rest goes into my checking account for future bills and groceries.

@SW-User But, now, can you afford to put the gas in your RV, well done, the people that voted for Biden, oh wait, must not forget to thank the Dominion machine’s, and the election fraudsters
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Saving it and maybe getting some new glasses later, it’ll cover what the insurance doesn’t.

Most will go into savings for my eventual escape from nyc and I’ll probably blow some of it on lacy things

Fixing to buy a half acre of land on the river and build me a cabin
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Bigbass77 how far will $1400 go for that? I just watched Homestead Rescue and they built a greenhouse for. $300 using mostly materials that were already on the property such as a lot of old windows and some used lumber.
Bigbass77 · M
@cherokeepatti the land is $2500 and I have most of the material to build the cabin

Supplies for my bug-out bag ...the end is near!
4meAndyou · F
Nothing. I will just chuck it all toward the enormous charge card debt I incurred during the worst of the covid19 last year, when I had to order all my supplies from Amazon and got raped on prices.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@4meAndyou I hear that loud and clear
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Probably saving it up because of inflation and rising energy costs may have to dip into it for that. I do want an air cleaner if I can’t fix the one I have....have not yet given up on it.
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@cherokeepatti the more you save the worse the inflation is. This push to save debt money is a scam by the bank. They print of millions per day, so unless you are saving that much, you are just losing money by saving it
MrPerditus1 · 61-69, M
New glasses and contacts. Haven't updated what I have in over a decade, then getting a treadmill. The rest will go untouched.
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
I'll just br keeping it in my checking account, I'm lucky I dont need anything.

Bills and a Lil something for me.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
same thing as we did with the others we didn't get.
Not getting one
@Stillwaiting No worries.. were were blessed to not have a disruption in our employment so far. Not that I couldn't find a use for it with two kids in college, but we do not need it like those who have been impacted.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I will eventually get new eyeglasses this year, my supplemental insurance will pay for an eye exam and up to $250 for a new pair but I’ll have to chuck in another $100 or so I am sure.
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
@cherokeepatti yes glasses are so expensive. I actually just bought my daughter a pair that, with insurance still $260
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Sunnykel76 I need bifocals and want smooth line ones (or whatever they are called) and a decent set of frames that won’t fall apart a month after the warranty expires on them so it will cost. I am wearing a pair of glasses that i had made about 16 or more years ago and they fit my vision just fine but the frames are a bit outdated.

Bought new windows and doors.... to the tune of $27K ... mine will go towards my loan 🤓 I’m so practical 😩
I spent a little revamping my front porch decor and will put the rest towards some bills

I shouldn"t get one .. we have been lucky not to have missed a paycheck so far through this mess so far.

No one who hasnt been impacted should be getting one.
