Most of us need a major boost in the mornings just to get going. We load ourselves up with coffee or tea, and we don't stop till around noon. I used to know a woman who bought coffee in Big Gulp sized cups, and drank coffee till 2 p.m. just to perform.
We've all seen people who definitely need to STOP drinking so much coffee, in RL or on television, because they are so hyped up, talk non-stop, and are super irritable. You want to go right through the television screen at times and yell, "Hands up! Put the coffee down!!!"
On a more personal note, I can definitely relate. I enjoy doing genealogy as a form of work and hobby combined, and there are times when I can't seem to stop.
I get that way when I am cooking, or when I am doing anything I really enjoy. I stop when I am exhausted. When my eyes get blurry, or when I start making mistakes. Major backaches when I am cooking, also, will stop me in my tracks.
