How do you feel about living in a cashless society?

The Federal Reserve came out today to say that new cash will not be given out at banks, for Christmas. First the coinage shortage and now the paper money. Tracking and control? All this BS, needs to stop and now but so many do not understand or care.

There is no such thing as cashless. Currency just changes types every few centuries.

@canusernamebemyusername I wonder if bartering would get bigger if they went cashless? If I'm not mistaken that's the oldest form of so-called currency.

@CestManan Correct. Bartering is the way when the system brakes down during any crises. Example, I could take 4 boxes of ammunition to the local hardware store in exchange for materials but the caveat is the power company will not. It’s purely local and between interested parties.

@canusernamebemyusername We are talking about physical cash and coinage but you are correct.
