Is there a way to mute political posts?

All you can do is mute the person making the posts.
Or click - Show less of user. That might reduce what you see from those posters.

Yes. Make sure none of the groups you belong to are headed "Political" in any way. Then, when you go to the home page, you can click on your groups, which will show only the ones you belong to. If you've deleted all the political ones, none of those questions will show up.

In your settings under interests. Unclick "Politics" if hadn't already been clicked. But then nothings to stop them from posting their questions in any other catagory.

no. it doesn't seem to be the sorta of thing that sw admin want to do. you have to mute people.... but it tends to be the same people, and they rarely seem to post about anything else.
