Why is it so hard finding a place in a decent area that accepts section 8?

I remember being a kid with my mom trying to get anywhere decent to take us because we had section 8. I'm trying to get somewhere cheaper for my own son and I to live in

Because they cluster impoverished areas together and then said area gets neglected because the people have no money to pay for goods and services. That leads to fewer jobs, which leads to even more poverty, which leads to desperation and crime.

We really need a big effort to start desegregating by wealth class.
