Do you care what people think of you

I lose sleep.. honestly I do

Only if they're telling lies about me and the gullible believe it.

To care what everyone thinks of me would make me neurotic. It would probably mean having no identity of my own and just defining myself in terms of others' opinions.

On the other hand, to never care about what anyone thought of me would make me a self-centered narcissist who regards everyone else as beneath me.

So, yes, there are certain people whose opinions of me do matter to me. I listen to them and take what they say about me seriously, because I trust them and respect them.

Not anymore...whether I care or not makes not one iota of difference, so why should I care?

Only people I care about and people I work for.
