Will the US liberate Hong Kong?! 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

Just going to throw another comment on this it would be strategic suicide to try and liberate Hong Kong, without a significant sized multi national force being so close to mainland China. You could take it but risk being forced into a war of attrition. Also it being a port city you would have to have a fleet to stay and hold it making them prime targets for airel attack. So far from US soil poses supply issues as China will likely take air superiority being closer to Hong Kong. Over all a liberation would probably kill a great deal of people and destroy a lot american assets. That's also if all of Chinas allies ignore an attempt which would be unlikely.

Militarily? That's how you'd start a war with China, and potentially a global conflict with an unpredictable result, likely more in favor to them.
