What do you do when you angry with your other half ?

Wait for it to pass. He is the sweetest, kindest, most loving man I've ever known, and on the rare occasion I feel a spark of annoyance, it's on me, not him.

I sit on it until his workday comes to a close. I don’t want to disturb the tasks in front of him, plus, sometimes I just need time to absorb, process, and then chill. When it’s something that’s still bothering me after sitting with it for a while, a very rare occurrence, I inadvertently let my annoyance/anger/confusion come through in my texts to him. I don’t know what I do, but he picks up on it and asks me what’s wrong. That tells me he’s in a place where a discussion can be had. I talk, he listens, and together we find a solution because he’s very adamant about my days having as much light as possible.

Leave. Even if it was for an hour, by the time I got back I was usually calmer. The second ex would not even allow me to go for a drive to cool off...used to chase me out to the car.

Try to have a conversation about the matter. In vain because he was a total mute who hated any kind of confrontation.

Have you tried the 🍳 up the side of the head ?🤷‍♂️

God, we shared enough anger for over 20 years to do us in. I know it sounds unbelievable, but we've worked through so much & found a way to avoid it.
