No, i am serious. 1984 was an important piece of literature. It was taught in school, the movie doesnt do it justice. George Orwell’s master work of the dystopian future. I just thought it was important everywhere. Its my lack of knowledge (or perspective) not yours.@Rokasu

@MarkPaul Yeah I get that. The first time I watched it I was a little stuck. I loved that about it though. It challenged me like no movie has done before.

@G00GLE There is supposed to be a sequel that carries the story forward with him on his own without his mother. That has potential; I just hope they don't ruin it by dropping the realism.

@MarkPaul that's my fear as well. Personally as a standalone movie it's just perfect. If all the people involved want to follow it up that's fine with me though.
