If somebody tries to give you life advice do you always take it as a personal attack?

Not an "attack" but depending on the context it can be rather irritating

Criticism: You know that crap you're eating is gonna kill you? You should eat this.

You want to give advice, gently recommend. Don't force the point.

No. Especially the older generation who have great advice and wisdom.
