I find it funny how the same conservatives who say video games cause violence are the same people that say "guns don't kill people, people do".

No. Depends on what though? The kid? Like movies or even cartoons are not packed with violence anyway. Or sports or the news🤔 pretty much every single thing you can watch on screens or read in papers. Why do people like to single out videogames?

I think someone who plays a violent video game than does the violence in real life would have enacted violence at some point regardless.

Video games are more ubiquitous than ever. Homicides are fairly low for the history of our crime reporting stats. So I'm going to have to say no.
