Congratulations! Quitting is a big deal and I could add the most difficult thing I've ever done. That being said make a goal for your fitness and you'll see it through. You already proved you have the willpower.

It's a start and you've done well to quit smoking. I do smoke and struggle with my weight, but the best thing is to either drink water before dinner or have lots of raw vegetables as a starter. You eat less then.
