Okay as Nov.8 comes closer, I'll give trump supporters a chance

What is one of Donalds Policies that you agree with and Why?
Invisible · 26-30, M
I entirely agree with how he mentioned in the second debate how healthcare should be done through the states, not the federal government. The states don't have enough power and the federal government can push them around on too many issues. There aren't enough checks and balances anymore and this isn't what our founding fathers intended.
Rosewaterbby · 26-30, F
Interesting, but push around too many issues? Can you elaborate a little more?
This is a good one.

So you want healthcare provided by local government, not privately as it mostly is now? you'd nationalise (state-ise?) the healthcare system?

After all, "Obamacare" didnt touch healthcare, only the health insurance system
thinkincubes · 41-45
Does he actually have one? I've always thought he was selling hot air, just like his counterpart who runs on 'being a woman'.
Rosewaterbby · 26-30, F
I've been trying to hear one since the beginning of his campaign but all I ever hear is "But Hillary!" I've been trying to listen!

US is doomed either way
Not going to war with Russia is a huge one for me for obvious reasons, but with Hillary that's what we will get. Enforcing immigration laws is also a big one as well as securing the border. Right now police are being told to let illegal immigrants who've been in jail for various crimes (robbery, assault, etc) go and they aren't being sent back to whatever country they've come from. A lot of people have been hurt or died because of it. If they do get sent back to their country they just come back over and over again which is why the border needs to be secured. I'm talking about criminals, not your average hard working people who actually want to become Americans with good intentions. Also a REAL investigation of Hillary is something I really want which he says he will do.

I'm mostly afraid of what Hillary will do to the country if she's elected.
I have a hard time finding things like this on google too. They've been called out recently for doing some shady things. Could have something to do with this...

And here are a couple articles about the release of prisoners and a link to a memorial site for victims of illegal immigrants easily found using Bing...

And here's a video for fun.

@HippyDippyBS: uh .. you did catch the bit that the reason Immigration was ordered to release those ppl was because of budgetary concerns, because Congress in 2013 wouldn't increase funding sufficiently to let them be held/prosecuted/expelled ?
If we sent them back to their countries and secured the border instead of releasing them back into us cities we wouldn't have to pay to keep them incarcerated. Sounds like a better plan to me. I agree, instead of increasing the budget to jail them here we should secure the border and send them home.

I don't need your approval.
Rosewaterbby · 26-30, F
I wasn't asking for it but you tried lmao
1961dave · 61-69, M
For a lot of years America has been at a huge disadvantage to other countries. We send stuff to other countries and there's a tarriff much bigger than the ones (if any) that we impose on them. That's the reasom manufacturing jobs went away in the U.S. Trump plans to level the playing field by imposing tariffs back. He also saud he plans to personally talk to corporations that are planning ontaking work out of the U.S. and tell them that it will cost them to bring their priducts into the U.S.
carpediem · 61-69, M
@Rosewaterbby: What?? You smoking the week already this morning?
katielass · F
@Rosewaterbby: No dear. Most jobs that went overseas went there because of the enormous cost of the ever increasing regulations and the highest corporate taxes in the modern world.
1961dave · 61-69, M
@Rosewaterbby: They went overseas because it was cheaper and in a lot of cases because of tariffs. Gentrification affects small businesses not manufacturing.

Besides exploding the debt with military spending and infrastructure promises and then cutting the only mechanism to counter-balance them (taxes), I have not heard details of any policy except that child care thing his daughter talked about (a policy which would have been exciting and new in 1975). Policy talk is different than pointing out problems and saying "I am going to fix that, 100%, you know what I am talking about." He has some stuff policy on his website that he rarely talks about and never in any detail beyond bullet points. But having said that, you can buy nice hats there.
lorne13 · 61-69, M
he doesn't have any it seems except building a wall and saying the election is rigged
Rosewaterbby · 26-30, F
It seems he does but they're all pretty uncalculated and wishy washy (It's expected)
1961dave · 61-69, M
You hear only what you want to hear. Apparently you didn't hear the FBI confirm that we can't keep ISIS out, vetting doesn't work. And you didn't hear that Hillary is pkanning to bring tons in despite that. Or maybe you did hear but you think it would be good to have terrorists killing in America like they did in France.
Also fixing our awful trade deals, fixing taxes and regulations so businesses (small businesses included) can grow and don't choose to outsource to other countries. That will help with jobs.

Investment in inner cities
Rosewaterbby · 26-30, F
@Katielass: that's very good katie
DownTheStreet · 51-55, M
@Katielass: let's be nice though, regardless of who wins its going to take everyday people to work of ether to turn the page on this nasty process
katielass · F
@DownTheStreet: Yes sir, I'll try.
ManicMicah · 22-25, M
I don't like either candidates, they're like a couple of children fighting over the country as if it were a toy. I've listened to a few of the debates and I can't stand Trump or Hillary.
Rosewaterbby · 26-30, F
Me either but I've never heard a true trump policy so I have to ask
