Hide it. No other way for me. I just don't want to put such a burden on another's shoulders or ruin a relationship with the inevitable awkwardness.

SW-User
It's easier to hide it.
Sometimes they force it out of me.
Sometimes they force it out of me.

I tend to be reserved about that sort of thing, but lately I've working on changing that. I want the people who are important to me to know.

Wise. Not a rehearsal :) hope it goes well for you.

SW-User
I think I'm almost too forward.
I tell them.
I tell them.

SW-User
it probably doesnt back fire for you tho.

SW-User
Right. That's funny.

SW-User
I hide it, it never ends well for me. Lesson learned...

It's difficult, you never know what the right thing to do is.

yeah it seems like when you really tell your emotions to certain people it just totally ruins the relationship.

SW-User
like the last girl i cared for found out she didnt do relationships she just fooled around with insane amounts of men.

@theowl: That's heart breaking stuff fir sure!

SW-User

If its somebody you're close to as a friend.
Trust me. They already know !
But you've been discreet enough not to mention it and they've been glad you have that's why they haven't shot you down.
It saves you the "I only see you as a good friend" speech.
Kinda sucks I know. But at least you can appreciate each others friendship as opposed to feeling embarrassed every time you're in each others company.

@theowl: And then they think maybe they should avoid you and then you feel guilty and then you do your best to stay out the way and then it becomes obvious to everybody else that knows the two of you.....it's just an endless guilt trip.
Why is it that people say they want love, all the time !
Yet when anyone openly declares it rather than say 'oh wow!' And rationally discuss it. Maybe even to the point of letting you down gently if they don't feel the same way.? At least that way you might be able to have a friendship based on mutual understanding without you feeling like theyre caving your entire world on top of you.!!!?

i have been there with girls its like they freak out since you shown that you had feelings and they just push you away and that friendship is no longer there. its like your presence just makes them feel uncomfortable.

@theowl: mankind and his relationships still have some evolving to do.

Fee-lings?🤔

I will eventually tell them. It took me a while this last time, but I think I made it clear that I was interested even before I said it

SW-User
I told them they told me they felt the same and then they disappeared into the real world out there

SW-User
ouch. but then he must not have truly felt the same to just disappear.

SW-User
@theowl: I know :(

SW-User
