Convenient perhaps.
Inexpensive sometimes.
But, certainly not humiliating.

I want to learn how to drive but until that happens I have no choice but to ride the bus. I have a bus pass anyway so I don’t need to pay. It’s only humiliating if I get on the wrong bus or miss my stop or get off at the wrong stop or miss the bus and get stranded somewhere. Oh and when I have loads of shopping or luggage it’s embarrassing then.

I love parking my car and riding the bus or take a commuter train to work and other places because you can read and work, and it’s better for the air and cheaper and safer than driving a car!

It's more humiliating if you're driving one, especially if it's an arriva bus, last time I rode one it broke down 6 times in 10 miles.

If the exhaust pipe is hot, it can be painful, but so long as no one sees you it is not humiliating.

It can be at times especially if people misbehave or violate unwritten societal rules.

In some places it's terrifying and other places it is really fun. 😂

No, in fact sometimes people pay to ride them.
