How many people, not specifically, do you think have more than one account here?

It was just a random thought and it doesn't actually bother me.
I am curious though as to their reasons for doing so, particularly if they're trying to display different personas.
It seems, to me, such a lot of effort to go to and for what?

When I first came in here years ago I had another account. Mostly just used it to see what those that blocked me said after they blocked me. Shortly thereafter I just stopped caring why they blocked me and just dropped the account. I never replied nor made any posts. Too much of a bother.

@HannahSky Why scary? You don't necessarily have to interact with them. AND you could alway just ask them outright if it is bothering you for some/any reason.

It seems a lot of people does that here...not sure why...some seem harmless, but a few really seem to have an intent and agenda...

@SW-User I've been noticing a few. If they're trying to portray different personas though wouldn't that be a contradiction of a sort unless they're trying to push their agenda in a certain way using different methods. Dunno.

@Zoranna Haha, I know, it's my sense about it. I know of a few, that do no harm. Probably some would be surprising to us.

P.S. TOS allows three, so as long as they are not hurting or deceiving anyone, it's their prerogative.

I'd say at least half of them do. The reasons can be many. Some like to spy on others, some pretend to be female when they're male and visa versa. I know one person that has many accounts here, I had to laugh when I saw him talking to himself one day! 🤣
