Do you think it's possible to have PTSD and not realize it?

Yes, only because sometime it takes a professional to pick up on it. For years I was being treated for anxiety and SAD until a therapist really began to probe my past and listen to my symptoms.

@SageWanderer So, what was the final conclusion? I mean...diagnosis. Anxiety and SAD are definitely real!!! That's for sure.

@perceptivei When tings were not improving the therapist decided to take a different approach. Yes, I do have SAD but instead of anxiety she discovered a lot of repressed feelings from my days in EMS and being a caretaker. There is more, but that's the basics.

@perceptivei We've had a good start and things continue to improve. I'm still trying to identify all the triggers and tat may take time.
