Seems that SW is generally more conservative according to the poll I took

And the balance either neutral or don’t care about politics

20 odd respondents but most were SW regulars so I’d consider it quite representative

Problem with all polls is that they're only representative of those who chose to make their view known.

This is why anyone who tries to tell you it's representative generally wants to try and sell you something !

Which is why the enlightened treat such posts/tv /political messages as exactly that.
A sales pitch.

Sounds about right.

One disturbing observation I read rrecently is that liberals are more likely to tune out and turn away from politics when the discussion turns toxic and threatening while conservatives are more likely to become engaged.

@wildbill83 Perhaps, but they aren't wasting their time on idiotic social media, either way then.
Only reason I am on here is because I cannot get out of bed, being a cripple, and I have nothing else to do- American television is all we get here and its for uneducated people. I have all my DVDs memorized and there is nothing else I can do alone. I never had family and cannot make any friends as a shut-in. There is nobody here I could be friends with, I can tell by the posts, what they post about- these are all people to avoid on SW.

I answered conservative because some of the 'liberals' on here are so personally abusive and fanatical I identify more with the conservative camp
