You can live a relatively normal life with HIV. New Zealand are opening a HIV sperm donation centre. As the donors are almost infection free and it's not traceable and cant be transferred.
Although some cancers are curable if found in time. There are still alot that cant be. So I have to say cancer

@DonotInboxMe I have a friend that has been HIV positive for 20 years. He has undetectable levels now of HIV. They have come leaps and bounds with this. Still he tells very few as most people are terrified of it

I would say HIV. We have ways to cure or remove cancers.
