Do you think feminists of the late 19th century would approve of the feminists of today?

I honestly don’t know any feminists in real life. I did in college. A lot of those people are doing great things (from what I see on Facebook).

I doubt it. I like to think many would go as far as to say contemporary feminism is not feminism at all. And it isn't.

Feminism wasn't a word in the late nineteenth century. The word then was probably sufragette.

Definitely not. First, I think most would be astounded by how far women have come. Second, I think that most of them would be shocked at the man bashing. Feminism was meant so that we are equal to men in society, not above, and not below.
