Why are stairs still a thing in 2019?

If some places have staircase but not elevator it could be an construction. But places with elevator have staircase too. But it's better to use staircase rather then being stuck on elevator. 😅

because it cost much more to maintain an elevator and electricity and all that. stairs will always be a thing
