@Cavedweller the word looks like pine.? If the tree had needles like pine, fir, spruce its a soft wood. If it has leaves it's a hard wood. It took 40 years of carpentry to learn that. I've built plenty of homes too. From concrete to cabinets. Totally useless stranger trivia.

@Cavedweller It's a nice wood floor. Looks like knotty pine. It's not cheap it's up there with maple, oak, e.t.c
