Does anyone else find public pools disgusting?

Public pools are doubling as cesspools due to inadequate sanitary conditions. One could contract the same bacteria from a natural body of water though.

I’ve been swimming as sport for yearssss. Different pools for different meets, the worst I’ve gotten was a cramp.

Yes I won’t go into them any more. We lived in an apartment complex with a swimming pool & I & my daughter never dipped a toe into it. They’d open it each year on Memorial Day weekend and by Monday it would have body oils floating on top & they’d have to close it for cleaning. The apartment manager would repeatedly send out memos for tenants to take a shower before coming to the pool & many wouldn’t do it. That and babies with little swimmers diapers make public pools a fecal stew.

Not really, simply because I've basically always swam in them since I was a young child. I was a little grossed out though, when a girl I lifeguard with mentioned that you go a lot faster down the slide if you're naked. Like bitch, you smeared your bare ass the entire way down that slide and now other people are gonna go down it!

Never go to the bathroom. I guess you're technically swimming in washed off genitals the whole time
