What makes you stop caring about someone at all?

Like, what “triggers” that reaction? What makes you instantly stop having good feelings for them? Or Is it part of a long process of detachment?

I'm not sure I ever stop caring. But if they continue to disappoint me, I lose interest in wanting to invest time and experiences with them.

It doesnt take much. Lie to me, steal from me, cheat on me, etc. Basically the second you do me wrong, I stop caring.
