Why dont people trust people that are TOO nice?

I'm a very very nice person but for some people, some people are creeped out by me. My friends said I'm too nice and I need to stop and be more assertive and fiesty is more fun. I tried to be nice and when people don't give in, I get angry. Is that why I don't have a lot of friends? Be honest

Because that's how people hide their true dark selves- they put on an act of "overly nice". Serial killers are a prime example.
