Is it stupid to feel bad that your friends ditched you to go on a free trip?

No, I would probably be pretty upset if I was in your situation.
Time to find some real friends!

Depends where the free trip is to. If it’s to another country then it was nice knowing you, to Walmart then that’s an issue. 😉

I would be more pissed at being ditched than anything else.

somewhat but who the Heck wants to go Camping at 61 years old , freaking Mosquitoes and walking a ways with a full pack-pack to set up camp and wait its not over yet , you gotta spend all day collecting Fire wood , oh wonderful , lol hope someone brought food and weed , toilet paper almost forgot and water

@FurryFace lol.

If they don’t have the decency to ask you if they can reschedule with you, that’s pretty crappy. I wouldn’t blame them for wanting to go on a free trip, but if they ditched you, that’s a jerk thing to do.

Depends how close they are to you

And you can't just ruin friendship on a single event. There should be a pattern of similar behaviour in the past

Not really. Better friends might’ve found a way to include you. 😒
