@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout That's always happened in the past with other states. New Hampshire's state motto is "Live Free Or Die." Lol. People will never vote for an income or sales tax. So, they've overburdened property owners.

@Picklebobble2 It is.. It varies, from state to state. Ours id about $100 cheaper.. And cheaper again with a senior citizens discount.

It’s a shake down.. they sold us off to any foreign investor with a cheque book. So most the revenue comes from tax.. tax tax tax.
I understand the need for somethings. But they’re price gouged massively without scrutiny @whowasthatmaskedman

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Of course its a shakedown. This is the government. The options are, move someplace else and get shaken down by someone else, or arrange your affairs as best you can to position yourself to take advantage of the system. I went with Plan B.

@SW-User I dont have enough of a grasp of NSW politics to comment on yours. But our state govt is winning a lot of friends getting rid of railway crossings all over.
