The best time to have kids is never

It’s best to have kid if you are up for the responsibility. They become your first priority. If you can’t put them first, don’t have them no matter what age you are.

Either is fine. It depends on what cons and pros affects the individual the most.

I am glad I waited till after 30.

Whenever you are ready. I don't believe the social majority or social values should dictate this.

@iamnikki But how is that right to put that on your parents? They already put financial support into you to become independent and do whatever you choose in life. Now they have to help raise a grandchild? And still support you? Who has time or money for that?
Who you are at 21 is different than who you are at 35 the other end of your spectrum for having children.
I don't think it's fair to anyone at that age to be having children and not being ready to take care of them.

Started at 27 and thought that was a good age.

@Pfuzylogic yes, I think it is. Especially if you've really lived life. Meanwhile, at 27, I feel 15 as far as life experiences go.

It's supposed to be better for your health and less risk for the kid when you're younger. But there's benefits to waiting too, like you and your husband might be more financial or just cope better with the demands etc.
