Yes, and it's hard to tell it from other boring white fish meat. In Australia, certainly up to a handful of years ago, the basic fish offered in 'fish and chip' shops was "flake", which is shark meat. In batter, with salt and vinegar, it was perfectly OK

Battered flake is good. I usually hate fish but that was good. Will probably never willingly eat it again though. 😅

Not per se, but had shark pills made from cartilage from sharks. Don't burp afterwards!

Yes, in Malta in 1999, it was fresh and delicious, I then had it somewhere else and it was hard and horrible, I dunno maybe it was frozen crap.. UGH..
