@SW-User You're lucky
I beg to disagree. More times than I can remember, a finger from my Mother wagged in front of my face, with the admonition: "Young man, you need to behave!" I got the "Young man" many times. So, you females don't have a market on being told you're "Young ladies"

cos that's how you reinforce the patriarchy, tbh. 'Ladies' are meant to be genteel and subservient, and the only way for that to happen is to drum it into kids heads before they can know better.

@SassySpiceSexy that's the patriarchy for you. It pretty much sucks, unless you're a rich old white guy.

@SassySpiceSexy you prob have a sexist family.. it's not like that with me. Infact I think I get treated a bit more special 🤷♀️

Boys simply have a different standard to be held to it doesn't make it a easier standard. But it could depend on what culture you're in. Life isn't fair you might get used to it early.

Do you mean physically? Then yes and society is mostly right. If you mean in every other way then what are you talking about there is nothing more powerful or privileged than a western world woman (perhaps just a white rich Western world woman).

@kayoshin both

Only an idiot would consider a woman weak in countries from the EU. :))

Their parents were raised by that shopworn maxim, "What will the neighbors think?"
My brothers and stepsister got away with NOTHNG - we all got the same (except for my teenage sister - once when she was 16 - but that's another story).

It’s always boys will be boys but girls need to be ladies. At the end of the day this is where the inequality starts.
SassySpiceSexy · 26-30, F
@Benjr134 why aren't boys told to be gentalman?
TidyYeti · 41-45, M
Stop farting on your pet hamster then and they'll stop telling you to be a lady
SassySpiceSexy · 26-30, F

Girls are expected to have manners, but if you are a typical girl thats a lot to ask 😀
SassySpiceSexy · 26-30, F
