A neighbor of mine gave me this advice and I was wondering what others thought about it?

She said that you should NEVER accept a gift from someone that you don't like, because when you bring that gift inside your house, then you are poisoning your atmosphere with negativity.
She says that if you must take the gift, then you should pass it on or donate it as soon as possible.
Do you believe that objects themselves can transfer negativity?
I thought it made sense.

That's an interesting concept to consider, and I think it could be true. In the past, I've received gifts from people I've disliked (I don't really dislike many people though haha), but I donated or regifted them as quickly as possible. However, two years ago, I kept several birthday presents from a nasty friend. I remember that their presence evoked strong, negative feelings within me, bringing back bad memories every time I glanced at them. I ended up hiding them away, and I have no idea where they have gone now. She also presented me with a chocolate bar, but I kept wondering if she had poisoned it, so I ended up throwing it in the trash.

You did well

Thanks. I wish I had trashed the rest of the gifts, but I suppose putting them away is better than nothing. As soon as I find them, they're going in the dumpster.

I thought I was overly paranoid for thinking she had poisoned the chocolate, but it doesn't hurt to be careful. Besides, after witnessing her laugh as I nearly died from eating a peanut, I began to think I was right for throwing away her gift.

U should burn all the things...trust me I know what I am talking about...my father is an exorcist. He thought me how to destroy that called negativity or black magic.
