Have you never taken your vehicle to a mechanic?

I consider it a matter of personal pride, no one works on my vehicles except me.

Everything! It might be a bit of a cheat though, I have worked as a mechanic.

@Fernie: Replace it. You can find tested units online for most modern cars. If it's a matter of expense, go for a used computer that has been tested.
