I think I've missed out on something culturally. I've heard Don Rickles name being mentioned before but I haven't got a clue who he is. Between the other two, I'm a fan of both, and couldn't really choose.

Big fan of Scottish comedy, though, and Billy Connolly and his inspiration, Chic Murray. The incontinence pants, prescription windscreen, and the long nose story all crack me up.

@Dan193 Jim Carrey is as funny as a turd in a swimming pool in summer
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@nedkelly I like him.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@nedkelly Jim Carey is a crackup but his character is a little one dimensional so he has to be cast in the right role for his humor to shine through.

Bill Burr. no one makes me laugh as much as he does
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@PlumBerries Bill Burr is fucking hilarious. He has about as much chill as a microwave oven. My favorite skit of his was the one where he talks about how each racial group has missed some essential piece of information. White people missed out on how to properly use lotion, Black people missed out on how to register their firearms, Mexicans missed out on how to clean their beards...

haha just reading your comment I read that in my head imagining his voice and just laughed. he is hilarious and I love his rants

Out of your list I had to pick Rodney Dangerfield...Groucho Marx (though one of my absolute favorites) was not a standup comic, he was a comedy actor. He did have some beautiful one-liners though.
