I've painted myself into a corner

and agreed to "celebrate" Christmas with the family despite having big feelings about the uselessness of it all. My ma is a Buddhist and my father an atheist: no major godbotherers in the family so I've that to be thankful for. I'm just going to drink my fill and play Lego with my nephew.

No one in my family is religious but we still get together and exchange gifts and eat food every Christmas. 🤷🏼

@dumpstermeow I'm pretty sure I can get away with it considering my nephew lives interstate and I don't see him as often as I'd like.
