What posesses people to slap those stupid antlers on their cars for christmas?

I totally misconstrued what that question meant at first, and was picturing people wearing antlers slamming them into cars.

I LOVE it!!!! The antlers on a car!!!! I always wanted that.

On a dark note of humor : maybe they are suicidal and want to get shot at?

I think that's the objective - surely they don't think their cat is an antler amputee?
