Mines gotta be The Prince of Egypt
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
A fellow pastor in a small town west of here woke up hearing someone knocking on his door. He was greeted by two young men both shaking asking for his advice. He invited them in and they recounted how they didn't know how but they were just spared death. They were driving down the highway when an on coming logging truck lost a log. The log bounced off the road and hit the young men's pickup in the windshield. It bent the steering wheel, removed the head rest behind the driver and exited out the back of the truck. The driver and the passenger say that the log hit the truck so fast the driver didn't have time to duck. The passenger said he watched as the log went right through the driver but the driver walked away from the accident without a scratch.

I like the ones I've read about old Gilgamesh.
ScarletWitch · 26-30, F
@Allelse dont know what that is

@ScarletWitch Gilgamesh was a fellow in ancient Sumerian mythology which was possibly based after a real king, who they then attributed all sorts of fantastical stories onto. He's sort of Hercules-esque in that he's half man half god, and gets into all sorts of adventures. The Sumerians were one of the first tip-top civilisations on the planet, they were a clever bunch and they used to built these cool looking buildings called ziggurats! They lived in ancient Mesopotamia and were so long ago, that their language became a dead language which was used by the Babylonians much the same way as we use Latin today. The language of scientific terms and such.

Mine is thetime Chris was invited to a big wigs affair and the one of the guys that worked for the host,he was like a mayor,goes and sis beside the host while Jesus at I the last seat. The host told the mayor to trade seats with Jesus. A lesson in humility. Sound familiar.

The one where the flood comes around and kills everyone except for the crazy guy building a boat. I think he was an animal lover too because he insisted of saving all the animals instead of people. I true hero imo

@millennialgrandpa I heard the ark was found in the mountains...

@ScarletWitch I heard that the red sea is probably where the flood happened. Like there was a valley with land and life where the red sea was but the land eroded way and caused the sea to start flooding in

Jesus going crazy on the money handlers. Many like to say that He is always so passive, but this story shows him quite aggressive in certain situations. I like it!
@easterniowegin Shit! I'd be pissed too 😡😤😾🤬
