Men shouldn't feel like they should or shouldn't shave their legs. I am fine with leg hair. But if someone shaves their legs because they are a swimmer of cyclist or for other practical reason, that is perfectly fine.

I am more annoyed that women are practically required to shave their legs (to a point where I almost wouldn't go outside if I didn't do it).

I like my man hairy.
Not into the manscaping lark!
So I'd rather they didn't shave their legs.
Some of my male swimming friends shave their legs. I don't see the point.

@helenS ughhh, that's wrong. I don't even mind pubes, tbh
helenS · 36-40, F
@SW-User … and female pubes?
SW-User
@helenS females don't attract me sexually, so it doesn't bother me what they do.

@LyricalOne awwww! Goaaaatttiiieeeee!
Astro · 56-60, M
@LyricalOne I would reply with spelling out a goat noise but I can't remember what noise goats make.

@Astro Naaaaaaaaaa
Might be fun to try out, but I would only let a girlfriend shave them.

@LittleBlueAngelBoy last year, some friends and I did an event where we cut homeless people's hair for free
That's awesome.
SW-User
@LittleBlueAngelBoy I want to do it again in the Spring

I don't have one. I know a cyclist who does. He shaves his arms too.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
You must be a bicycle racer!
helenS · 36-40, F
@VeronicaJane I understand why swimmers do it; but air drag reduction should be very small. Hmmm. Ok I have no clue.
Ynotisay · M
@helenS To a certain extent it's about drag. But it's more about road rash after a crash. Easier to clean. Real cyclists also do it because they're getting rub downs after they train or race and it makes it easier.
helenS · 36-40, F
@Ynotisay Thank you! Understood.

No stance, but i find it funny that such an issue could, in this world now blow up into a big thing.
Astro · 56-60, M
@SW-User I love how most bring up aerodynamics
SW-User
@Astro A "respectable" reason ....;)
Deadcutie · 18-21, F
Nothing .. they still musculary look masculine.. I see dead men all the time that shave their legs, it’s really more common than people will admit..
You can stop using the excuse you shave them to make yourself more aerodynamic......
Astro · 56-60, M
@Deadcutie I just don't like body hair
Deadcutie · 18-21, F
@Astro doesn’t phase me.. in school , all the boys that shave their hair claim it’s to reduce resistance like in running swimming and biking.. sounds like a convenient excuse
Astro · 56-60, M
@Deadcutie it most likely is
SW-User
To each their own, but definitely not something I'd ever consider doing. I'm so slow that the aerodynamic advantage would be minimal.
helenS · 36-40, F
I for one prefer men with natural body hair (legs, chest, etc), but — to each their own!
:-)
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
I prefer my man to keep his hair. But hey, whatever works for another man is none of my business.
KingofPizza2 · 36-40, M
Seems like a waste of time unless they really need the aerodynamic boost
FuriousSam · 26-30, M
Is that a serious question? Come on...
Astro · 56-60, M
@FuriousSam it is
indyjoe · 56-60, M
It's very unusual, but to each his own.
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
Stance..I saw what you did there!!
Lanyx · 46-50, M
Serious bicyclist.
