It depends on if you had a good idea of what you wanted to do with the degree you're going to earn.
@BlueMetalChick 100% this.

@BlueMetalChick yeah nope

if you dont know what to study then college wouldnt be the best idea.

It may very well be. Depends upon your career choice. I went back in my late twenties. I have a well-paying career. Some said I wouldn't make it. They dropped out. Get some counseling. Only you can improve your lot in life. Beats tricks.

@PoetryNEmotion My best guess would maybe be business to get my own salon.

@Astro You are never too old. It is a mindset. Get some realistic counseling. Talk to a real business owner. Get solid advice. Then make a decision. You have choices. Never let anyone knock you down.

Going for a purpose would be worth it. Going just to go to college seems a bit pointless, at any age.
iamnikki · 31-35, F
are you up for a promotion or something? Or just want to prove to yourself that you can do it? I'd say that if you made it this far without it then skip. Your choice.
Mysti · 51-55, F
Idk. Depends on how much you spend on education vs what you can earn in the next ten years. At which point you would be eligible to retire.

If you are wanting to make money go to school to be an elevator repairman, they were starting out at about $60K 5 years ago.

Your age is less of a problem than not knowing what to study. What motivates you to consider going back to college?
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
As long as you're alive and you have a solid plan, then yeah. It's worth it.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
Only if you think its worth it. Economically? Nah, but perhaps itll bring lifeworth.
Astro · 56-60, M
@MartinTheFirst I can get it for free but I've always felt funny about playing that card. My sisters did it
